TWLC School Counseling

My name is Bridgette Sears and I am a 26-year veteran in the educational field with experience as both a special education teacher/Intervention Specialist and school counselor.
I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Central State University, my M. Ed and MA from the University of Cincinnati, and I took classes to earn my education administration credentials from Xavier University.
During my tenure as an educator, I spent 6-years working in Cincinnati Public School District as a special education teacher, 11-years working as a school counselor in Princeton City School District, and 9-years working as a Special Needs Coordinator, then Intervention Specialist, at Scarlet Oaks Career Campus. While working for Princeton City School District, I had the honor of working as the District Liaison at their alternative school where I supported students in earning both new and recovery credits allowing them to meet graduation requirements and obtaining their high school diplomas.
In the NCH District, I have the honor and pleasure to be working at Trojan Way Learning Center as the Alternative Education Coordinator. I will focus on ensuring that all our students are on target to graduate as well as aid them in transitioning into the many adulthood options of post secondary education and/or the workforce.
I look forward to supporting and guiding our students to reach their full potential in school and outside of school as a member of the community.
