WELCOME TO THE NEW 2020-21 SCHOOL YEAR!
Trojan Way Learning Center will open its doors to start another promising new school year on Monday, August 16, 2021. The beginning of school always brings a variety of emotions — excitement, anticipation, and yes, a little bit of nerves for students, teachers, parents, staff and administrators alike.
A new school year is full of introductions to new faces, and reconnections with old friends, all while learning to navigate new class schedules, and meeting new teachers. Our staff of highly qualified professional educators and support personnel is committed to helping make this process a positive experience.
I am excited to announce that I, Tiffany Williams, will serve as the School Principal for Trojan Way Learning Center. I have been professionally involved in education for seventeen years. I previously worked as a classroom teacher for 8 years and I am entering my 9th year as a school administrator. I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Indiana Wesleyan University, and a second Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Grand Canyon University.
I encourage you to visit our school’s website, www.nchcityschools.org. This will serve as a resource tool for all upcoming events, student/parent handbook, and important reminders. Our annual back to school picnic will take place August 11th, 5:00p-7:00p (1731 Goodman Ave). We will also hand out student chromebooks to all of our virtual students during this event. If your student is signed up for virtual school be sure to attend this event so you can pick up your student’s chromebook. If your student will be attending our in person program at Trojan Way learning Center teachers will deliver their chromebooks to them in the classroom on the 1st day of school. Come out, meet the staff, and enjoy good company as we celebrate the start of a new year!
As we prepare for the 2021-2022 school year I hope to inspire everyone to set new goals, think big, and embrace new connections and experiences. Enjoy these last days of summer, and best wishes for a positive, productive and rewarding school year!
Sincerely,
Tiffany Williams
